Cable that fails on site is expensive long before anyone measures it. These are the checks we run, the documents we issue, and the inspection options open to you before the container leaves China.
Control points
Copper and aluminium rod is checked for conductivity and diameter on receipt. Insulation and sheath compounds are checked against the specified compound, not just the grade name.
Conductor stranding, insulation thickness and concentricity, screen coverage and sheath thickness are measured during production rather than after the drum is finished.
Each production length is tested according to the applicable standard and receives a test certificate tied to the drum number.
Before the container is sealed, we check the finished drums against the order: type, size, length, marking, drum condition and packing.
Third party inspection through SGS, BV or Intertek can be arranged on request, with the report issued before shipment.
Drum number, production length, test record and shipping reference are kept together, so a claim can be traced to a specific length rather than a batch.
Testing

Values are recorded on a routine test certificate issued per drum or per production length. Type test reports cover the product family rather than the individual order, which is the normal convention in the industry.
Standards and approvals
Certificate copies are provided with the quotation on request, so you can confirm before ordering that the documents match what your own market requires. If your market needs a certificate we do not hold, we will say so at quotation stage rather than after the container is loaded.
